Hansika Pradeep Motwani was born on 9th August 1991. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Tulu and Telugu. She began her television career with a serial called Shakalaka Boom Boom. She has appeared in ads like Hyundai Santro with Shah Rukh Khan. In 2007 Vaishali, a sanyasin was Hansika’s first lead role in the Telugu movie Desamuduru. She won the Best Female Debut Award – Telugu. Hansika’s first release was a Kannada movie Bindaas opposite Puneet Rajkumar. She made her Tamil film debut in the 2011 film Mappillai opposite Dhanush.
